The
South Georgia Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America was organized in the year of 2001 being nationally appointed
by its present chapter representative, Ronald Spence. Mr. Spence was inspired
to bring together musicians and singers in the South Georgia area to become a part of the GMWA National Organization.
The
South Georgia Chapter’s goal is to provide encouragement and hope through gospel music.
The chapter continues to strive to obtain excellence in delivering quality meaningful inspirations through gospel music.
The
South Georgia Chapter has grown over the years in hard work and determination. They
have accompanied providing musical support to James Bignon, Reverend Milton Biggham, Patrick Lundy, First Missionary Baptist
Church Recording Choir of Thomasville, Georgia. The South Georgia Chapter has
also participated in many community events.
The
South Georgia Chapter’s Youth Division is also vibrant having performed in concerts in Georgia
and Florida.
The
South Georgia Chapter is excited of its missions and goals and invites others to join in with them.
